Personal: The 2006-07 season will mark Mobley's second year as a member of the WSSU men's track and field team where he will compete in the shot put and the discus. A native of Dretter, SC, he is a 2002 graduate of Dretter H.S. where he was a member of the football and track and field teams. The son of Shirley Favor he is a Mass Communications major at WSSU. Born in Dretter, SC on December 2, 1983. Nicknamed "Big John". Also a member of the WSSU football team.
