Personal: Allesio will join the Rams track & field teams in the fall of 2009...He is a 2008 graduate of Caesar Rodney High School where he won numerous honors as a multiple sport athlete...He earned two varsity letters in football as a wide receiver and running back for the Riders...He led his Riders high school team to 2nd place in the state championships...He was also a top 5 scorer in high school history...He took home the Coach's Award, was named team MVP, and was named to the all-conference team in the 4x400m relay and in the 4x200m relay...He was also a competitor in the Meet of Champions where he placed fifth in the high jumps...He was also a top performer off the field where he took home the High School Honor Award...He is a Criminal Justice major and the son of Allessio O. Monsanto, Jr. and Maria Hodge.
