Personal: The 2006-07 season will mark Yowell's second year as a member of the WSSU men's track and field team where he will compete in a variety of jumps and hurdles events as well as all the triple, high, and long jumps. A native of Henderson, NC, he is a 2005 graduate of Northern Vance High School. The son of Jesse and Karen Yowell, he is a Mass Communications major at WSSU. Yowell was born in Russellville, KY on July 12, 1987. Nicknamed "E".
