Complete Results

The Winston-Salem State Track & Field teams continued their string of impressive performances with a strong showing at the Carolina Classic. The team had some strong finishes in both sprint and field events to highlight the day.

Sophomore sprinter Wykieta Barnett finished 10^th in the women's 60m dash with a time of 00:07.83. Barnett continued her efforts finishing 12^th in the women's 200m dash with a time of 00:27.08 leaving behind runners from Duke, N.C. State, and UNC-Wilmington, among others. Vernae McDonald and Malliron Hodge finished 25^th and 26^th respectively in the women's 400m dash with times of 01:04.33 and 01:04.50 respectively.

Sophomore jumper Ezra Yowell had a fourth place finish in the High Jump with a leap of 6-.04.00. In the men's 60m dash, junior Nate Biggs finished 13^th in the finals with a time of 00:07.07.

Friday's event ended the 2007 indoor track & field season for the squad and the team will return to outdoor action on March 7^th at the Florida A&M Relays in Tallahasee, Florida.
