GREENSBORO, NC - The Winston-Salem State Rams had some great performances on day two of the 2008 International Friendship & Freedom Games, Saturday. The Rams competed against some top competition and had some great performances on the day.

 

Highlighting the event was junior Nathan Summerville who took first place in the men's high jump. He took the win, clearing 1.93m (6'4") in the event. WSSU freshman thrower Mark Brown took sixth place in the men's shot put with a distance of 12.73m (41'9.75").

 

Senior Kenneth Koech placed eighth in the men's 1500m run in a time of 4:25.44.

 


 

 

The Rams will return to action next weekend when the team takes part in the 115th Penn Relays.
