Rams Indoor Track & Field Ranked 10th in Atlantic Region

NEW ORLEANS, LA - The Winston-Salem State Rams made a return to the top 10 of the Atlantic Regional rankings, Tuesday afternoon. The Rams are currently ranked 10th in the Atlantic Region of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association after a great effort at the 33rd Annual Niswonger Invitational last weekend.

WSSU senior sprinter Paul Williams has already posted an NCAA Provisional Qualifying time and is currently ranked 21st in the nation with a best time of 6.86 this season.

The Rams will return to action this weekend the team competes in the 2011 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Indoor Track & Field Championships in Newport News, Va.
