KERNERSVILLE, NC – The Winston-Salem State University Rams men’s and women’s cross country teams had another day of strong performances when the team took part in the 2015 Wake Forest Invitational, Friday evening. Running against some of the top teams on the East Coast, including several NCAA Division I teams, the WSSU teams had some impressive showings at the event.[read more]

SALISBURY, NC – The Winston-Salem State University cross country teams had some great performances on a short notice, Friday evening. The Rams men’s and women’s country teams both had some great efforts at the meet which the participated in after the cancellation of the 2015 Robert Shumake HBCU Championships last week.[read more]

GREENSBORO, NC – The Winston-Salem State University Rams men’s and women’s cross country teams continued their strong seasons with some impressive performances at the 32nd Annual Greensboro Cross Country Invitational at Hagan Stone Park. For the second week in a row WSSU freshman Domtilla Kiplagat broke the 20-minute mark when she ran a 19:24.9 to place fourth in the women’s 5K run.[read more]

CARY, NC – The Winston-Salem State men’s and women’s cross country teams both had some impressive showings at the 2015 Adidas Cross Country Challenge hosted by North Carolina State University. Running against some of the top teams on the east coast, the Rams stepped up to the challenge and continued to show what makes them one of the top teams in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA).[read more]
September 11, 2015Rams Open 2015 Season at Bulldogs Cross Country InvitationalWILSON, NC – After getting rained out last week, the Winston State Rams men’s and women’s cross country teams opened the season in style with some great performances at the 2015 Bulldogs Cross Country Invitational hosted by Barton College. The Rams women’s team saw some great performances with two runners placing in the top 10 at the event while Rams men’s team also saw some impressive efforts.

October 30, 2014Rams Place Eighth at 2014 CIAA Cross Country Championships; Lady Rams Place SecondCARY, NC – The Winston-Salem State University cross country teams highlighted their seasons with some strong performances at the 2014 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Cross Country Championships, Thursday. The Lady Rams had a great day, placing second at the meet to become runners-up while the Rams had a great showing, placing eighth at the event.

Both teams ran well against some of the best HBCU competition in the nation.

September 19, 2014Rams, Lady Rams Post Solid Efforts at Adidas Cross Country ChallengeCARY, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams and Lady Rams cross country teams had another solid day at the Adidas Cross Country Challenge. The two teams got their first run on the course that will once again host the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Cross Country Championships and they did not disappoint.
