Winston-Salem, NC - For the second time in as many weeks, the WSSU Cross Country Teams split results with Livingstone College and Johnson C. Smith University.

The Lady Rams were not as successful as they had proven to be last week as they dropped both halves of their tri-match, losing to both the Lady Golden Bulls and the Lady Blue Bears. Livingstone placed first with 28 points, JCSU placed second with 48 and the Lady Rams brought up the rear with 55.

Their male counterparts fared better as they fell to Livingstone College, but defeated the Golden Bulls of JCSU. The Rams tallied 44 points to the Golden Bulls' 54, however came up short as the Blue Bears registered only 23.

The Rams and Lady Rams will return to action next when they compete in the CIAA Cross Country Championships held in Durham, NC on October 23-24th, 2003.
