WSSU Men's Cross-Country Finishes Fourth At UNCP Cross Country Invitational - WINSTON-SALEM STATE OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE

LUMBERTON, N.C. - Winston-Salem State University's men's cross-country team earned a fourth-place finish on Saturday afternoon in the 8k run with a time of 31:40.37 at the UNCP Cross Country Invitational at Luther Britt Park in Lumberton, N.C. Kenneth Koech led the Rams with a ninth-place finish as he turned in a time of 29:14.95.

The meet was the 35th annual for the men's side as the CIAA's St. Augustine's College took home the men's first place team honor as Isrreal Jaimes, Omar Wiggan, and Edgar Bermudez finished first, second, and third respectively in the 8k for the Falcons.

WSSU's Gerrod Sidbury registered a time of 31:04.83 en route to 15^th-place honors. Sidbury and Koech were joined in the top 20 by Gregory Watts who earned a 20^th place finish with a time of 31:53.41.
