Greensboro, NC - The Winston-Salem State University men's cross country team finished in eighth place on Saturday morning at the Hagen Stone Cross Country Classic in Greensboro, NC as WSSU was led by Kenneth Koech who placed 23rd overall with a time of 27:50, leading seven WSSU student-athletes in the event.

Rounding out the scoring portion of the race for the Rams were Corederius Cowans (32:01) and Cory Wright (32:54) who finished in the fourth and fifth positions for the Rams (with only the top five runners eligible to count in team scoring results).

DeAngelo Perry finished the course with a time of 38:30 as he ran unattached. He was followed by Travis Smith who turned in a time of 40:42 to finish seventh amongst the Ram runners.
