Final Stats

PLEASANT GARDEN, NC - The Winston-Salem State University men's cross country team earned an 18th place finish in the Division I, University category at Saturday's Greensboro Cross Country Invitational at Hagan Stone Park in Pleasant Garden, NC as the Rams recorded a team score of 425 points.

 

Leading the way for the Rams was WSSU standout Kenneth Koech who turned in a 55th place finish as he completed the 8k course in 29:30.3 to lead all WSSU runners.

 

Gerrod Sidbury completed the lengthy course in 30:44.3, earning a 78th place finish in the process as he and Koech were the only two WSSU runners to finish in the top 100.

 

Concord University earned the team championship as they posted a team total of 57 points.  Saint Andrews Presbyterian completed the day in second place with 63 points to earn the silver team medal.


 

 

 

The Rams return to action on October 6, 7, and 8, 2006 in Orlando, FL as they travel to compete in the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic.
