Final Stats

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL - Behind Kenneth Koech's 91^st-place finish, the Winston-Salem State University men's cross country team earned a 26^th-place team finish at the 2006 Disney Cross Country Classic at the Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, FL on Saturday afternoon.

Koech turned in the Rams' best finish as he recorded a time of 27:48.25 en route to completing the 8k course in 91^st place.

Following Koech was Gerrod Sidbury who turned in a 151^st-place finish with a time of 29:39.23 as the Rams continue to improve in 2006.

Rounding out the WSSU finishers was Alvin Powell who finished 185^th (31:12.52), Gregory Watts who finished 188^th (31:20.77), Sadat Kahin who turned in a 208^th-place finish (33:01.28), and Nathan Summerville who finished with a time of 34:29.55 to finish 218^th. 

The Rams recorded a 26^th place finish as a team with a combined score of 702 en route to defeating Stetson University, Bethune-Cookman College, Tennessee Wesleyan College and Saint Leo University.

WSSU will return to action on October 14, 2006 at the North Carolina Central University Cross Country Invitational at Forest Hills Park in Durham, NC.
