CHARLOTTE, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (14-13) needed a big second half to take a 50-41 win over the Elizabeth City State Lady Vikings (5-18), Tuesday afternoon. February 8, 2017Slow Second Half Costs Rams in 66-60 Win at ShawRALEIGH, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (12-11, 8-5 CIAA) had a solid overall effort, but the team could not make the plays they needed when they took a 66-60 loss to the Shaw Lady Bears (9-16, 6-7 CIAA), Wednesday evening. For the second time this season, the Rams the Lady Bears played a very close contest, but this time, it was the Lady Bears who made the key plays.

January 30, 2017Rams Cruise in 65-54 Win Over Elizabeth City StateWINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (11-10, 7-4 CIAA) had their best performance of the season when the team rolled to a 65-54 win over the Elizabeth City State Lady Vikings (4-13, 2-9 CIAA), Monday evening. The Rams utilized a scorching hot offensive effort to take control of the game from the very beginning and never looked back.
WSSU Head Cheerleading Coach, Eboni Graham, welcomes all aspiring cheerleaders 4-17 years of age to the campus of Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU Cheer Explosion Camp June 20-24 at the Donald J. Reaves Center. The five-day camp will take place from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., featuring members of the Powerhouse of Red and White and 2nd year WSSU alum, Coach Graham.
WSSU Head Football Coach, Kienus Boulware, welcomes all High School Football teams to Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU 7-on-7 Football Camp on June 21st. All camps are non-contact. Registration will begin at 9:00 AM in the Field House. Teams will be guaranteed 4 games, lunch, a camp t-shirt. Space is limited due to fields, please register and reserve your teams space now. WSSU Head Football Coach, Kienus Boulware, welcomes all prospects in grades 9-12 (as of Fall 2017) to Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU Prospect Camp on July 12th . High School graduates may not participate. All camps are non-contact. Campers will benefit from both individual and team instruction. Fundamental skills will be taught and there will also be some individual and team competition.
The WSSU Men's Basketball Program will hold an Individual Camp, June 19th through June 21st. Second grade through Fifth grade will attend from
9am to 12pm (Morning session). Sixth grade through Eighth grade will attend from 1pm to 4pm (Afternoon session).
The cost of the camp is Early Bird Price $85.00 Before June 1st 2017 and After June 1st 2017 Price will be $100.00.
