Personal: Angie Abraham joins the Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams staff this fall with a wealth of knowledge and experience at collegiate coaching. Her experience and knowledge of the game will be a welcome addition to a young Lady Rams squad and staff.
Abraham began her career at her alma mater, Buffalo State, where she served as an assistant coach for her alma mater. After two seasons at Buffalo State, Abraham went on to serve as an assistant coach at Genesee Community College. She was given her first head coaching opportunity at Erie Community College in Buffalo, New York. After three seasons there, she went on to coach at nearby Bennett College in Greensboro, NC.
Prior to joining the staff at Winston-Salem State, Abraham served as the Assistant Athletic Director at Defiance College in Defiance, Ohio.
Abraham is a 1996 graduate of Buffalo State College with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting and a Master's degree in Student Personnel Administration. She is a native of Lake View, South Carolina.
