Leading the team by example, Baugh's efforts and abilities led to her being named team captain and leading the team to one of the most impressive turnarounds leading to an improvement of seven more wins during her senior season. Her favorite opponent turned out to be the Miami Hurricanes as she recorded a career-high five steals in 2004 followed by dishing out a career-high eight assists against the team later that season.
