2006-07: Sat out as an injury redshirt...Played in two games at James Madison before suffering a knee injury...She scored no points with one assist and one shot attempt.

Personal: MaLisa will join the Lady Rams squad this fall after transferring the WSSU last spring...She will take the court in December after sitting out a full year following a transfer from James Madison...She is a decorated high school athlete who earned numerous honors...She was named to the All-Tidewater team twice and was named the TCIS Player of the Year twice...She set a school record in points scored (2,084) at Norfolk Collegiate School in Virginia Beach, Va. and led the Oaks to the TCIS championship in 2004...She was also a decorated volleyball player...She helped guide the Oaks to a Virginia Independent volleyball state championship in 2003 and was named Virginia Independent State Association Player of the year that season...She is a Chemistry major and is the daughter of Gary and Linda Bumpus.
