The Lady Pacers jumped out to an early seven-point lead less than five minutes into the contest as USC-Aiken never trailed in the game.
USC-Aiken increased their lead to as many as 16 points with 2:10 left in the first half of play as they took a 12-point cushion to the locker room at halftime, leading their Lady Ram hosts 38-26.

Second-half action saw the Lady Rams cut the USC-Aiken lead to eight points seven times in the half, eventually shaving their deficit to as little as six points with 2:33 left to play in the contest.
A pair of Megan Starnes free throws would seal WSSU's fate as the Lady Rams dropped the five-point decision to the Lady Pacers.
Kadina Baldwin led the Lady Rams with 23 points, including three three-pointers, to lead all scorers.
USC-Aiken was led by three players who tallied 11 points in the contest as Mindy Allee, Meredith Legg, and Nola Grant all scored in double-digits.
