#5W Lady Rams To Face #4E Bowie State In First-Round Action - WINSTON-SALEM STATE OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE

CHARLOTTE, NC - The Lady Rams of Winston-Salem State University earned themselves a #5 seed in the CIAA Western Division and will face the CIAA Eastern Division four-seed in the Lady Bulldogs of Bowie State University at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena on Monday, February 27, 2006 at 9:00 pm.

The Lady Rams will take their 7-17 overall record (2-6 CIAA West, 3-11 CIAA) versus the higher-seeded Lady Bulldogs and their 12-14 mark (4-5 CIAA East, 6-9 CIAA).

The two teams met only once during the regular season in an inter-division match-up which Bowie State won handily by the score of 76-50 in Bowie, MD on November 29, 2005.

The winner of the contest between the Lady Rams and Lady Bulldogs will face top-seeded Johnson C. Smith University on Tuesday at 7:00 pm.
