  • Lady Rams End 2013-14 Season at 2014 CIAA Bowling Championship Tournament

    DURHAM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (49-48) ended their 2013-14 season, Saturday afternoon when the team took a pair of losses in the double-elimination round of the 2014 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Bowling Championship Tournament. After going 2-3 in Baker games play to earn a fifth-seed in the double-elimination tournament, the Lady Rams took a pair of losses to end their season.

    DURHAM, NC –The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (47-43) struggled to open the post-season when the team went winless on the opening day of the 2014 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Bowling Championship Tournament, Friday. Though the team gave some solid overall efforts, the Lady Rams could not find their way into the win column on the opening day of the tournament.

    NAGS HEAD, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (47-38, 38-22 CIAA) closed out the regular season in style when the team posted a solid 3-2 record in Baker games play at the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) North/South Division Meet in Nags Head, North Carolina. With the effort, the Lady Rams finish the meet with a 10-5 record against the CIAA Southern Division.

    NAGS HEAD, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (44-36, 35-20 CIAA) bounced back in a big way when the team rolled to a 4-1 record in team match play on the second day of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) North/South Division Meet. With the effort, the Lady Rams improve to a 7-4 record at the event.

    NAGS HEAD, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (40-35, 31-19 CIAA) opened their final meet of the regular season with a strong effort when the team went 3-2 on the first day of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) North/South Division Meet, Friday afternoon. The Lady Rams began the meet with some impressive performances taking three CIAA Southern Division wins.
  • Lady Rams Close Out Aggie Master's Classic with 1-2 Effort in Baker Games

    GREENSBORO, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams closed out the (37-33) Aggie Master’s Classic on a down note when the team posted three Baker games losses on the final day of the three-day event. With the effort, the Lady Rams finish the weekend with a 6-7 overall record for the weekend.

    GREENSBORO, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (36-31) posted a 2-3 record in team match play on the second day of the 2014 Aggie Master’s Classic, Saturday. The Lady Rams finished the day with wins over NCAA Division I Morgan State and the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) leading Fayetteville State Lady Broncos, but took losses to the rival North Carolina A&T Aggies and the North Carolina Central Eagles.

With the effort, the Lady Rams remain in second place in the CIAA Southern Division and finished the event with an 11-4 record.

The Lady Rams took three strong wins, breaking 800 pins twice during the day.

    PETERSBURG, VA – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (17-15, 13-6 CIAA) opened the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) North/South Divisional Meet with a 4-1 effort in team match play at the event, which was hosted by Virginia State University. The team gave one of its best efforts of the season when they finished the day with four wins against the CIAA Southern Division.
