Raleigh, NC - The Lady Rams bowling team continued their stellar performance on Saturday afternoon as they posted a 4-2 record for the second consecutive day at AMF Capital Lanes in Raleigh, NC in the second day of CIAA Interdivisional Bowling competition.
The Lady Rams started the day posting two quick match victories as they easily defeated St. Paul's College. The first match would see the Rams defeat the Tigers 740-652 and match number two was no different as the Rams won easily 754-615.
The Lady Rams would run into their stiffest competition of the season thus far in the third and fourth matches of the afternoon when the Rams fell in two straight matches to the Lady Vikings of Elizabeth City State; 921-869 and 807-728 to even out their record on the afternoon to 2-2.
However, the Lady Rams would respond well to adversity and come back to saddle the Bowie State Lady Bulldogs, a perennial CIAA bowling power, with back to back losses by the scores of 769-727 and 722-707, thus finishing the day at 4-2.
The Lady Rams will finish the weekend on Sunday with more interdivisional matches versus opponents that are yet to be determined due to seedings
