Raleigh, NC - The Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams bowling team left for Raleigh, NC on Friday afternoon sitting atop the CIAA Western Division, and they returned on Sunday evening atop not only the Western Division, but atop the entire CIAA.
The Lady Rams, after posting a 4-2 record on Friday and Saturday, rode the wave of momentum following a Latoya DesChamps (Gr./5'5"/Durham, NC) career high, and WSSU record, 241 game.
She and her Lady Ram teammates would post an 8-4 record on the final day, and secure their position at the top of the CIAA.
The Lady Rams, currently sporting a 44-10 record overall will return to action next weekend, looking to celebrate homecoming weekend in style, as they will bowl in their home venue, Countryside Lanes in Kernersville, NC.
