CABOT, AR - The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (7-38) ended the Mid-Winter Invitational on a high note with a pair of Baker games wins on the final day of competition. The Lady Rams finished the day with a 2-3 record with a pair of Baker games wins over Arkansas-Pine Bluff to round out the tournament. As a team, the Lady Rams finished 20th in the tournament.
The Lady Rams had to bounce back from a slow start after taking a 460-525 loss to Fontbonne and a 543-714 loss to Texas Southern to open the day. The team was able to get back on the winning track with a 606-484 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff to break the spell. The team would falter once again, however, with a 458-545 loss to Fontbonne once again before ending the day on a high defeating Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 522-466.
