Lady Rams Open CIAA Southern Division Meet with 4-1 Record

SALISBURY, NC - The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams opened the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Southern Division meet on a high note with a 4-1 record in team match play. The Lady Rams had a solid overall day, totaling 4,057 total pins and averaging 811.4 pins per match.

The Lady Rams took wins over host Livingstone (741-627), Johnson C. Smith (742-688), Saint Augustine's (919-766), and Shaw (797-744). The team's sole loss of the day came against the Fayetteville State Lady Broncos (863-858).

Sophomore Miranda Day had the best overall day for the Lady Rams with a team-high 935 total pins and averaging 187.0 pins per match.
