TALLAHASSEE, FL - The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (4-44) were solid, but the team didn't have enough firepower as they closed the 2010 Florida A&M Rattlers NCAA Bowling Classic with an 0-3 effort in Baker games play, Sunday. The Lady Rams scored at least 500 pins in all four matches of the day.
The team got off to a slow start with a 684-544 loss to host Florida A&M to open play. The team was able to bounce back for a strong effort against the Florida State club team, falling 689-606. The Lady Rams closed the weekend strong with their closest match of the tournament, falling to Bethune-Cookman, 629-608.
The Lady Rams will return to action next weekend when they head to Baltimore, Maryland to take part in the Morgan State Invitational. For more information on Lady Rams bowling, contact the WSSU Office of Athletic Media Relations at (336) 750-2909 or log on to www.WSSURams.com.
