TALLAHASSEE, FL - The Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams posted a winless 0-5 mark on Friday afternoon as WSSU fell in five consecutive Baker Matches on the first day of the Florida A&M Rattler Bowling Invitational.

WSSU started play with their closest match of the day as the Lady Rams fell to the Rattlers 3-2.  The two teams traded games before FAMU earned a 135-120 victory in the fifth, and final game earning them a 3-2 match victory in the best-of-five Baker Series.

The Lady Rams would follow up their loss to the Rattlers with four consecutive losses as WSSU was swept by Bethune-Cookman College (3-0), Fayetteville State (0-3), and North Carolina A&T (3-0) before closing the day with a 3-1 loss to South Carolina State University.

WSSU will try to rebound Saturday as the Lady Rams return to action in the match-play portion of the invitational.
