Charlotte, NC - The Winston-Salem State University women's bowling team has finished the final day of competition in the first weekend of the CIAA Bowling Season with a 14-1 mark.
The Lady Rams defeated all five Western Division opponents that they faced at least once, and lost only one match, to the Fayetteville State Lady Broncos whom they also defeated three other times.
The Lady Rams finished the three-day event with a 14-1 record and 2396 total pins with North Carolina Central being their next closest competitor with a 12-3 mark and 2210 total pins.
The Lady Rams will return to action next weekend as they travel to AMF Capital Lanes in Raleigh, NC looking to continue their run atop the CIAA Western Division.
