Durham, NC - The Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams Bowling team looked as though they had the Baker Match between themselves and North Carolina Central all sewn up when they pulled ahead 2-1 in the best of five competition, but it was not to be as the Lady Eagles roared back and defeated the Rams 3-2.

The loss eliminates the Lady Rams from the CIAA Championship Tournament and ends Winston-Salem State's bid for their first CIAA Bowling Championship. North Carolina Central moves on to face Bowie State as both of those teams will continue on in their half of the championship tournament bracket.
