Winston-Salem, NC - Following the conclusion of day two of a three-day CIAA Western Division league bowling tournament at Creekside Lanes in Winston-Salem, NC, the Lady Rams are tied with Livingstone College for third place overall with a day-one record of 3-2. The Lady Broncos of
The Lady Rams started the afternoon with a pair of wins over Saint Augustine's College as the Lady Rams swept SAC by the scores of 780-603 and 706-674 as WSSU posted a 2-0 record to start the day.
However, the two wins over SAC would be the only wins that the Lady Rams would get on the afternoon as they would fall 2-0 to North Carolina Central in the second match of the day (783-766 and 748-666) before falling in the day's final match to Fayetteville State 2-0 (838-767 and 784-675)

The Lady Broncos of Fayetteville State closed out day-two in the overall lead as they posted an unblemished record of 5-0 for the second straight day as they swept North Carolina Central (827-631 and 897-816), Livingstone (894-653 and 856-727) and Winston-Salem State (838-767 and 784-675)
