TALLAHASSEE, FL - The Lady Rams bowling team dropped five Baker Matches on Sunday afternoon at the Florida A&M Bowling Invitational to finish the match with a winless record of 0-10 overall in the season-opening weekend from Tallahasse, FL.
Following a day in which the Lady Rams were blanked by South Carolina State, Bethune-Cookman College, North Carolina A&T, Norfolk State and the Rattlers of Florida A&M, the Lady Rams were again blanked, this time in the Baker Match format competition.
The Baker Match format, which is a total team match whereeach of the five bowlers rolls two frames each in sequential team order from one to five, is a format where the Lady Rams have excelled over the six seasons of their existence.
Sunday however, was a departure from the norm as the Lady Rams earned only on game victory in five best three-out-of-five format matches.

WSSU was swept by
The Lady Rams lone game win would come against Norfolk State as they fell in defeat by the score of 3-1 (600-481 total pinfall).
The losses drop WSSU to 0-10 on the young season. WSSU returns to action on November 18-19, 2006 from Princess Anne, MD where they will participate in the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore Bowling Challenge.
