Greensboro, NC - The Winston-Salem State University women's bowling team fell in defeat to Wisconsin-Whitewater in non-conference bowling action at AMF All-Star Lanes in Greensboro, NC on Friday afternoon as they dropped a one-match contest 962-762 and then fell in back-to-back best-of-five Baker Matches to close out the day.
The Lady Rams started the afternoon by dropping a 962-762 decision to the Warhawks as Shannon Davis' team-high game of 190 was not enough to pull out a win.
WSSU then fell in the first of two Baker Matches as the Lady Rams won the first game 193-189 before falling in three straight games 180-127, 206-180 and 213-156.
The Warhawks would steal one more best-of-five Baker Match by securing three straight game-victories 204-158, 161-143 and 176-111.
The Lady Rams and Warhawks had never met prior to Friday, and the Warhawks now own the 2-0 all-time advantage over WSSU.
