Lady Gothic Knights Hand WSSU Another Loss In WSSU Bowling Duel

Greensboro, NC - The Winston-Salem State University women's bowling team fell in defeat to New Jersey City University in non-conference bowling action at AMF All-Star Lanes in Greensboro, NC as they dropped a one-match contest 1023-765 and then fell in a best-of-five Baker Match 3-0 on Friday afternoon in the second match of the WSSU Bowling Duel.

Meeting for the first time since the 2004 NCAA Women's Bowling national championship tournament in Houston, TX the Lady Rams came up short versus the Lady Gothic Knights.

The Lady Rams fell in a head-to-head match 1023-765 as LeAndrea Suggs led WSSU in a losing effort with a 173 high-game.

The Lady Gothic Knights continued to dominate the Lady Rams as the two teams moved on to Baker Match format competition as NJCU won in three straight games 175-145, 160-157 and 195-159.
