2013: Tanaya continued her career at WSSU with a great junior season…She started in 48 of the team’s 49 games played and finished ranked second on the team with a .342 batting average….For the season, she totaled nine extra base hits, including six doubles and three triples…Defensively, she totaled 67 putouts and tied for the team lead with 78 assists…For her efforts, she earned first team All-Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) honors.

2012: Tanaya had another great season for the Lady Rams as she played in 48 games with 48 starts for the Lady Rams…She finished the season with a .359 batting average and record 52 hits in 145 at-bats…She also added 24 RBI on 41 hits with nine extra base hits…She was also a strong defender with 71 putouts and 15 assists playing the shortstop and outfield positions.


2011: Tanaya had a great freshman season for the Lady Rams where she made an immediate impact on the team…She played in 42 games with 42 starts in the infield and the outfield for the Lady Rams…She finished the season with a .340 batting average and five home runs…She also turned in 30 RBI and had 10 extra base hits…For her efforts, she was named to the CIAA All-Rookie Team.

Personal: Tanaya joined the Lady Rams softball program this fall as a member of a large, talented class of newcomers...She is a 2010 graduate of Clover High School where she earned numerous honors including being named to the All-State, All-Regional, and North/South All-Star teams...She was also awarded the Female Athlete of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year...Nicknamed “Tee-Tee”...She is an Accounting major and the daughter of Tanya and Nathaniel Morrison.
