2004: 2004 marked the first season that Barrett was a member of the Lady Rams' softball team...Appeared in, and started, all 30 games for the Lady Rams at second base...Batted a team-high .398 on the season as she tallied 35 hits in 88 at-bats...Recorded six extra base hits, registering four doubles and a lone triple on the season, as well as a home-run (inside the park)...Batted in 20 runs on the season and tallied 44 total bases while recording a slugging percentage of .500..Struck out only 11 times on the season...Was 11 for 11 in stolen base attempts this past season, garnering a throw from home only five times...Recorded 53 put-outs in 2004 and tallied 39 assists while committing only seven errors for a .929 fielding percentage...11th in the CIAA in batting average with .398...6th in the CIAA in slugging percentage with .533.

Personal: 2004 was Barrett's first season on the field for as she had not played softball for the Lady Rams prior to 2004...A junior in classroom...A former member of the Lady Ram basketball team, Barrett is one of six children (three brothers and two sisters)...A graduate of Forest Hills H.S. in Wingate, NC, Barrett was a standout basketball and softball player in high school earning all-conference honors twice in each sport...The first member of her high school team to play competitive sports in college...Daughter of John and Teresa Rogers...Double majoring in accounting and management information systems...She will likely play second base for the Lady Rams...Born May 15th, 1981...Nicknamed "Ree-Ree".
