2006: The 2006 season will mark Ellis' second as a member of the Lady Rams' softball team where she will once again be WSSU's starting first baseman. A legitimate contender for All-CIAA softball honors, she is dangerous in the field defensively and at the plate with her powerful bat.

2005: Appeared in, and started, all 34 games for the Lady Rams...Recorded a batting average of .333 (second on the team) as she tallied 32 hits in 96 at-bats with 29 runs batted in and 21 runs scored...Tallied 13 extra-base hits as she recorded a pair of triples and 11 doubles...Tallied 47 total bases on the season with a slugging percentage of. 490...Walked 17 times and struck out eight times...Was two-for-five in stolen base attempts (.400)...Recorded a team-high 211 put outs with nine fielding assists and only 12 errors for a fielding percentage of .948.

Personal: The 2005 season marked Ellis' first as a member of the Lady Rams' softball team...A native of Louisburg, NC she is a 2004 graduate of Louisburg High School where she was a member of the softball team...The daughter of Earnestine and Garold Nicholson and the late Charles Ellis...An Elementary Education major at WSSU...Nicknamed "Weazy" by her teammates...Born in Louisburg, NC on November 5th, 1985.
