Nakeya L. Hall will rejoin the Lady Rams coaching staff this season and will bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion for the game to help guide the talented and experienced cast of Lady Rams as they continue to compete in NCAA Division I and the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
Hall is no stranger to the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. She was a four-year letterwinner at South Carolina State (1999-2003) and was one of the most consistent players on the squad and was a key leader both on and off the field for the Lady Bulldogs. During her career, Hall earned numerous honors including being named Offensive and Utility Player of the Year and taking home several all-tournament team honors during her career. She also earned a MEAC Player of the Week honor during her career as well.
As a coach, Hall served as an assistant coach on the Claflin Pantherettes' staff and also coached at Edisto High School as well as spending time as a volunteer assistant at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School.
She is also heading into her third year of competition for the Supersonics, a Competitive Class-A Women's Slow Pitch Softball team based in Warner-Robins, Ga.
Hall is a 2003 graduate of South Carolina State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. She is a proud member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
