2008: Leslie was a key reserve for the Lady Rams last season...Played in 32 games with 31 starts at first base for the Lady Rams...She finished the season with 16 RBI...Was a key member of the infield with just five fielding errors...Also added 181 put outs.
2007: Leslie was one of the most dependable players on the squad last season with a 42 starts and playing in all 43 games last season...She was a critical part of the WSSU defense playing primarily at first base for the Lady Rams...She finished the season with a .967 fielding average with just eight errors...She also led the team with 221 putouts...Batted .194 last season with nine RBI...Finished the season with 19 hits in 98 at-bats...Added a pair of doubles.
2006: Leslie Hollis had a great season with Winston-Salem State softball in 2006 as one of just three players to start in all 41 games ... Finished third on the team with a .362 batting average ... For the season, Hollis totaled 42 hits in 116 at bats with five double, eight triples, and a home run ... She also added 58 putouts with 68 assists and a .920 fielding percentage ... She finished the 2006 season with a .415 on base percentage and a .569 slugging percentage.
Personal: A native of Macon, GA, she is a 2005 graduate of Westside High School where she was a four-year member of the softball team and a three-year member of the soccer team for the Seminoles. Earned defensive player of the year honors in 2003 as well as serving as team captain in 2003 and 2004. A National Honor Society member, she served as her class president her senior year en route to graduating with honors. The daughter of Gregory and Shirley Hollis, her sister Danielle is a member of the softball team at Fort Valley State University. A Mass Communications major at WSSU, Hollis was born in Macon, GA on August 31, 1987.
