2008: Amber was the team's top pitcher last season and was a contributor on both sides of the plate for the Lady Rams...She posted an 11-16 record in the circle with a 3.87 ERA...She pitched 153.2 innings for the Lady Rams and led the team with 177 strikeouts...She allowed just five home runs all season long...As a batter, she finished the season with .253 batting average and a .345 slugging percentage...She added 19 RBI with five extra base hits...She totaled one home run, a triple and three doubles.

2007: The 2007 season was a tough one for Shore, who posted a 7-16 record as a starting pitcher...She led the team with 124.2 innings pitched...She also led the team with 127 strikeouts...For the season, Shore notched a 9.10 ERA for the season with 126 earned runs...Defensively, she notched a .928 fielding percentage with just seven errors...She remained one of the team's best batters with a .255 batting average and a team-high 17 RBI...She led the team in extra base hits with a pair of home runs, a triple, and seven doubles...She finished the season with a .339 on-base percentage.

2006: Amber is arguably the best player on the 2006 squad, leading the team in a number of categories ... The team's leading batter last with a team-best .416 batting average ... She finished the season with 51 hits in 123 at bats, including 13 double, five triples, and six home runs ... She was also 8-of-10 on stolen bases ... As a catcher, Shore caught 14 runner stealing with 16 passed balls ... Had a 12-10 record as a starting pitcher with a 3.63 ERA ... Led the team with 156.0 inning pitched and 184 strikeouts ... Also allowed just 88 walks as a pitcher.

Personal: A native of Yadkinville, NC, Shore is a 2005 graduate of Starmount High School where she was named the Northwest 1A Conference player of the year her senior season following four consecutive All-Conference selections. Earned a pair of State Championships at Starmount as she led the Rams to state titles in 2003 and 2004. A National Honor Society member, she was an Honors Graduate at Starmount H.S. The daughter of Ronald and Kim Shore, she is a Nursing major at WSSU. Born in Elkin, NC on May 5, 1987.
