2009: Candace was a cornerstone for the WSSU defense in the outfield, but had some struggles at the plate...She finished the season with a .163 batting average, but had no fielding errors...She added a pair of doubles and a triple.

2008: Candace was another of a great group of newcomers on the 2008 squad...She played in 45 games with 43 starts...She finished the season with a .270 batting average and 15 RBI...She also added three extra base hits, all doubles...She hit her sole home run at the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore...She had a career-high four RBI in that game...She was a great defensive asset for the Lady Rams with 30 putouts and just three fielding errors.

Personal: Candace Spinks returns to the Lady Rams as another in a group of experienced outfielders and will give the team another defensive weapon in the outfield...She is another talented player from Eastern Randolph High School where she is a 2007 graduate and a teammate of WSSU infielder Bonika Terry...She earned four varsity letters for the Wildcats...She also played travel ball for six seasons...She earned numerous prep honors during her career, including earning All-County and All-Conference honors and being named team Best Defensive Player and earning the team's best batting average during her career...She was also named team MVP during her career...A Physical Education major, she is the daughter of Casey and Shelby Spinks...She was born on September 19, 1989.
