The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (1-5) ran out of steam in game two of the team's double header vs. Morgan State (2-2), Sunday afternoon at South Park Field. Though the team managed its share of hits, totaling six in the contest, the Lady Rams found it hard to get runs across the plate in game two of the double-header.
Sophomore infielder Leslie Hollis was one of three Lady Rams to go 1-for-3 from the plate with the only WSSU RBI of the contest. Freshman Whitney Hall, sophomore Tyreka Cotton, and freshman Ashley Boswell all went 1-for-3 in the contest. Cotton and sophomore designated player

Morgan State scored in four of the remaining six innings including a four-run sixth inning that put the game away.
The Lady Rams will return to action, Wednesday when they head to Cullowhee, NC to take on Western Carolina in double-header action, starting at 2:00 p.m. The team will return home to take on the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore Lady Hawks next Saturday in a 1:00 p.m. doubleheader.
