For the second fourth consecutive game the Lady Rams recorded multiple runs in the first inning as they benefitted from a Bonika Terry three-run home run with one out as WSSU took an early 3-1 lead.
The Lady Rams would tack on two runs in the bottom of the second and fourth innings before exploding for four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning en route to the 11-7 victory.

Whitney Wright and WSSU starting pitcher Desiree Ramirez each record three-hit games for the Lady Rams as WSSU's one and two hitters combined for four RBI's in the victory.
In addition to her stellar work at the plate, Ramirez turned in a complete-game nine-hitter from the pitcher's rubber as she scattered nine hits, struck out seven and allowed seven earned runs.
Michelle Isida and Stacey Greene paired up for the Lady Eagles in a losing effort as each pitcher recorded three innings of work as they combined to allow 12 hits and 11 runs on the afternoon.
The win improves WSSU to 5-3 overall while North Carolina Central falls to 0-2 overall with the loss.
