Final Stats

GREENSBORO, NC - The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams scored a 5-4 win over the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore Lady Hawks (1-2), Friday afternoon at the Lady Aggie Softball Complex. The gave WSSU the 2-1 series edge over the Lady Hawks this season and gave the Lady Rams their second win in their last three games.

Sophomore pitcher Amber Shore (3-6) recorded the complete game win going all seven innings in the circle for the Lady Rams. WSSU will face local rivals North Carolina A&T in a noon match-up. The game will be an historic one as the two local rivals have never met on the field.
