Final Stats

TALLAHASSEE, FL - The Lady Rams (3-12) bounced back from a game one loss to give the Florida A&M Lady Rattlers a fight Tuesday afternoon at the Lady Rattler Softball Complex. WSSU controlled much of the game, but fell victim to a seventh inning FAMU rally that notched the home team their third win in a row.

Freshman pitcher Ashley Boswell (0-6) was solid in the loss pitching the entire game and giving up just three hits and one earned run in the game. She helped her own call early on hitting an RBI single that drove in Georgette Twitty and gave the team a 1-0 lead. The run was all that the team could muster against the reigning Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference champs while FAMU ran off two more runs, including the game-winner in the bottom of the seventh inning.
