SAVANNAH, GA - The Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams ran into an offensive juggernaut in Mount Olive College on Tuesday afternoon as they fell in defeat 14-3 to MOC in a non-conference softball contest that lasted only five innings.
The Lady Rams were able to score only three runs in the contest at hot Mount Olive bats and stellar MOC defense kept WSSU behind from the opening inning.
With the loss, the Lady Rams fall to 2-7 overall as WSSU pitcher Elyon Taylor falls to 1-3 on the season.
WSSU returns to action versus Mount Olive College at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 in third-round action from the Smash Hit Tournament.
