SAVANNAH, GA - The Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams dropped their second consecutive game to Mount Olive College, and fell in defeat for their third straight contest, on Wednesday afternoon as they dropped an 11-4 decision in third-round action of the Smash Hit Softball Tournament from Savannah, GA.
The Lady Rams, who fell to Mount Olive 14-3 in Tuesday's final action, would score only four runs while giving up 11 as they dropped to 2-8 overall.
With the loss, Lady Ram pitcher Amber Shore falls to 1-5 on the season as she gave up 13 hits and 11 runs in the losing decision.
WSSU closes out tournament action versus Roanoke at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 in final-round action from the Smash Hit Tournament.
