Salisbury, NC - The Lady Rams of Winston-Salem State University fell in defeat to the Lady Indians of Catawba College by the score of 10-1 in women's softball action on Tuesday.
Despite the drizzling rain and less than favorable temperatures, the two teams would play five innings of softball before Winston-Salem State ultimately fell in defeat by the score of 10-1.
The Lady Rams, and starting pitcher Heather Davis (Sr./5'1''/Detroit, MI) both fall to 3-3 on the season with the loss.
The two teams return to action at 3:00 pm for the second game of the doubleheader.
