Box Score

GREENSBORO, NC - The battle for bragging rights will have to wait until next season as the Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (4-19), took a 6-0 loss to the North Carolina A&T Lady Aggies (12-17), Wednesday afternoon. The loss was the team's fourth against their local rivals.

Struggles at the plate plagued the Lady Rams in the loss as the team totaled just two hits in the contest. It was the Lady Ram freshmen who did the hitting for the team as shortstop Whitney Hall and third baseman Ashley Boswell each notched one hit each for the Lady Rams. Hall hit a double in the first inning while Boswell hit a seventh inning single to keep the team alive.

Sophomore Amber Shore (3-10) took the loss pitching all six innings and allowing nine North Carolina A&T hits and four earned runs in the game.

The Lady Rams will return to action on Saturday when they face the Florida A&M Lady Rattlers in a noon doubleheader at South Park Field on Saturday. Admission to both games is free.
