Lady Rams Defeat Livingstone 3-0 In First Game Of Softball Twin-Bill - WINSTON-SALEM STATE OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE

SALISBURY, NC - The Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams earned a 3-0 softball victory over the Livingstone College Lady Blue Bears in Salisbury, NC on Saturday afternoon to move to 15-13 on the season and improve to a perfect 13-0 in the CIAA in the process.

WSSU's Amber Shore pitched a complete-game shutout as she and the Lady Rams continue to roll through the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association conference schedule.

The Lady Rams, who sit atop of the CIAA's Western Division, now sport a 13-0 mark in the conference, WSSU's best league start since the inception of the program in the mid 1980's.

WSSU and Livingstone College will return to action later this afternoon at 3:00 PM when they square off in the second game of the doubleheader.
