The Lady Rams wasted little time getting onto the scoreboard taking a 2-1 lead in the second inning and scoring eight more unanswered runs to jump ahead 10-1. The team would allow one more run to the Lady Eagles before taking the 10-2 win. The Lady Rams exploded for five runs in the fifth inning. It was a triple by two-RBI triple by junior outfielder Elyon Taylor that highlighted the game.
WSSU freshman catcher Kayla Woodbury had a stellar day, going 3-for-3 from the plate with a pair of doubles and two runs scored in the win. Junior pitcher
