CULLOWHEE, NC - The hits were hard to come by for the Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (19-26) in an 8-0 loss to the Western Carolina Catamounts (19-34). The Lady Rams struggled mightily in the loss, managing just team hits in the game and completing the doubleheader without crossing the plate.
The WSSU freshmen duo of shortstop Bonika Terry and outfielder Candace Spinks were the only two Lady Ram players to notch hits in the loss while the Lady Rams gave up 12 hits to the Catamounts.
