WSSU Softball Games Moved To Southpark Field

Unplayable Field Conditions Prompt Venue Change

Feb. 16, 2006

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - Winston-Salem State University women's softball coach LaTaya Hilliard-Gray announced on Thursday afternoon that both of the Lady Rams' softball games for the upcoming weekend have been moved to Southpark Field.

 

Friday's doubleheader versus Hampton and Saturday's twin-bill versus Morgan State have both been moved to Southpark Field from their original venue at Civitan Park due to unplayable field conditions.

 

WSSU will take their 0-3 overall record and look for their first win of 2006 versus the Pirates and Bears from Southpark field.  Friday's contests are slated to start at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm with Satuday's pair of games scheduled to start at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm as well.
